Sculpture on the subject of automobile design. This project began with a sketch whose curves I liked so much that I wanted to translate them into 3D. I created a low poly model in Autodesk Maya and subsequently refined the sculpture's details. I rendered using Fusion 360 to achieve a realistic appearance. 3D printing and editing of the physical model was the next natural step. The model was used to create a silicone mould into which multiple colours of epoxy resin can be poured to obtain a range of hues. The wooden base would be crafted from superior wood. The objective of this endeavour is therefore solely aesthetic.
The design of the car body recalls to the legendary Italian automobiles of the 1960s. Lamborghini and Ferrari were two of the most gorgeous automobiles ever created.
