Creating new chess pieces was more challenging than it may appear. I took into account the weight distribution of each piece when designing. The figure is substantial and will not fall over easily. The figures have a distinct personality that allows you to distinguish between the head and body. For a better grip, the pawn, king, and queen feature a groove for the pointer finger in the top section of their pieces. This design's primary criterion was an ergonomically comfortable and stable grip. In order to test this hypothesis, I 3D-printed all the models and used them to create a mould into which I poured dark red epoxy resin. The outcome was a mixture of epoxy resin and sand.
